Description

Bob Dylan Nashville Skyline '70s PROMO Vinyl LP - KCS 9825 - Matrix XSM139756-2B
An early 1970s pressing of Bob Dylan's "Nashville Skyline" LP on Columbia Records. The back cover is embossed with "DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE" in the upper lefthand corner (see pictures). I've searched various Dylan websites and have been unable to locate any copy with this 'Demonstration' promo stamp.
Catalog No: KCS 9825 Side A Matrix: XSM139756-2B (Stamped) (see photo) Side B Matrix: XSM139757-2B (Stamped) (see photo)
Vinyl: Play tested at a strong VG+/NM- on my Project Debut Carbon turntable. There are two or three instances of slight vinyl pops, but an amazing sounding copy.
Cover: VG. See photos in the listing. Tape has been applied in the upper right-hand corner. There are no seam splits, but the bottom seam is rough. The cardboard is still sturdy and strong.
I'll be adding a few other early '70s Dylan "Demonstation Not For Sale" pressings soon. Stay tuned!
