Description
Here is an unusual lp. This is a still-sealed promo copy of Bob Dylan's first self-titled lp in a monophonic pressing. This is one of the odd Eastern Electric promo lps that have turned up over the years. That was a regional electric company that gave away CBS-Columbia lps, and sealed Dylan and Johnny Mathis records, among others, have turned up. I bought this album with the jacket outer shrink wrap sealed and did the old Discoveries magazine method to check the label. In doing so I found this was a 2 eye Columbia pressing and not the first 6 eye label. Luckily, in the early and mid 1960's Columbia lps were shipped with an inner plastic sleeve that was factory-sealed as well, as you can see in the photos where the perforation is still intact. This lp was never opened. This one still has the title error with "She's No Good" instead of "You're No Good." If you're searching for a gem, here is one. Album is in UNUSED MINT condition. Sleeve is in VG+ condition with minor edge bumping, and shrink is still intact with stickers.
A great keeper collectible copy. All my LPs are graded conservatively and I only ship bagged, sleeved, and in real lp mailers - no cut up dumpster or pizza box cardboard here. Please feel free to ask any questions.
