Bob Dylan The Times They Are A Changin' US 1964 Guaranteed High Fidelity (Monaural) Shrink VG+/VG

Cover: VG+.In original shrink. About 4 brown age spots on front at far right disc opening (where shrink is separated) and about 2 inch area at far left corner on front (also having been separated-see photos). Back sleeve has printed price code "G" in far top right hand corner. Slight corner frays. Shrink partially undone on back sleeve. Otherwise, seams are super solid and have almost no scuffing. Top, bottom and especially title spines are super with really no paper loss.
Insert nice with typical careful handling which produces the inevitable crease here and there.

Disc: Visually Strong VG under bright light, each side has about 15-20 small marks and scratches combined over the entire surface. Each side has one very visible scratch, neither of which are feelable. Lots of gloss on both sides.

Audio: VG. Side 1-At very first needledrop at dead wax area, a short burst of static before quieting down to a noise level of 3 out of 10(10 being the worst) before and during the opening of the first track ("The Times They Are A-Changin' ").After that cut there remains the same level of 3 out of 10 until just before the beginning of the next track (" Ballad Of Hollis Brown") where it goes down to 2 out of 10.After that cut, the noise level goes quickly up to 3 out of 10,then back to 2 out of 10 all before "With God On Our Side" begins. After that-a similar thing happens again, a quick bit of 3 out of 10 for a noise level very quickly before backing down to 1 out of 10 all before "One Too Many Mornings" begins. And, just before "North Country Blues" begins, it escalates from 3 out of 10 quickly back down to 1 out of 10.So,if you're lost in descriptions at this point, the quick review is that: in between tracks on this side, there is a bit of escalation in crackle then it quiets down before each one starts.
Side 2-is simpler to describe. There is a noise level of 3 out of 10 from the first dead wax area needledrop until in between "When The Ship Comes In" and "The Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carroll" where it goes up to 5 out of 10 for the remainder of the side.
The final 2 cuts on Side 2 are the least desirable because of the acoustic and vocal only production lineup of this entire album, but having said that, the entire album is very listenable if not exactly an audiophile experience.
