Description

Bob Dylan WATERS OF OBLIVION

VERY RARE, the example offered has the small black title stamp (without quotations), black vinyl and grey labels. Cover is clean VG++, light handling, age spots, no seam splits or writing. Vinyl is shiny VG+ with light superficial sleeve scuffs and scratches, nothing serious. Quieter tracks have light crackle, no pops. Very nice for a 38 year old boot. (I have another example in my collection that visually grades Near Mint, very shiny with no marks. The track-to-track sound quality is identical to this one). Dark gray labels have roman numerals I and II written in ball point pen. Matrix numbers KG A/B.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
This rare, early bootleg appeared in 1970 from an unknown USA Manufacturer. It has blank labels and a blank cover with a small black rubber-stamped title on the front.  It was taken directly from an acetate of the Basement Tapes, and is most likely the very first bootleg ever taken from acetate. It appeared in three slightly different packages from three separate presses, all of equal or near equal quality.
