Description

Bob Dylan w/THE BAND (aka THE HAWKS) w/the songs that were circulating on the underground market since 1969 and before that, on a tape sent out from Dylan's music publisher in hopes of having them recorded by other artists.  These were songs Dylan recorded at his home in upstate New York as well as the house some of the guys from the BAND lived in nicknamed BIG PINK--these were informal sessions in 1967 for Dylan and the Band--these performances were not meant to be released.  SONGS (includes songs w/the wrong titles):  YEA HEAVY AND A BOTTLE OF BREAD, PLEASE MRS. HENRY, DOWN ON THE FLOOD, LO & BEHOLD, TINY MONTGOMERY, WHEEL'S ON FIRE, MILLION DOLLAR BASH, GET YOUR ROCKS OFF, NOTHING WAS DELIVERED, TOO MUCH OF NOTHING, I SHALL BE RELEASED, YOU AIN'T GOIN' NOWHERE, MIGHTY QUINN, OPEN THE DOOR HOMER, TEARS OF RAGE.  A lot of these songs ended up on the official THE BASEMENT TAPES LP that COLUMBIA Records put out in 1975--Robbie Robertson added studio overdubs to them--the songs on the one i am offering probably don't have those overdubs.  The album called MILLION DOLLAR BASH is on BERKELEY Records 2014--it is most likely a '70's pressing and probably predates the official one on COLUMBIA.


RECORD is Excellent to unplayed shape; the label is blank.
