In this auction:

• “BOB DYLAN’S GREATEST HITS” LP by Bob Dylan

• This LP is Columbia Records KCS 9463.

• This is the ORIGINAL FIRST STEREO PRESSING. The vinyl has the “360 SOUND STEREO” and “2-Eye” Columbia Records labels.

• This LP was released in 1967.

• The LP has not just GREAT tunes, but the GREATEST tunes by Bob Dylan on it: “Rainy Day Women #12 & 35”, “Blowin’ In The Wind”, “The Times They Are A-Changin’”, “It Ain’t Me Babe”, “Like A Rolling Stone”, “Mr. Tambourine Man”, “Subterranean Homesick Blues”, “I Want You”, “Positively 4th Street”, and “Just Like a Woman”.

• The COVER is in STRONG VG CONDITION and still in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The shrink wrap has a 5” X 3” (approximately) irregular shaped piece missing at the upper right corner. The shrink wrap on the rear is OK. Only some tape residue/discoloration (½ -inch X 1 ½ -inch) on the front cover at the upper right corner and slight/light wear along the opening keeps me from grading the cover Near Mint.

• The VINYL is in STRONG VG CONDITION with some very light surface hairlines/scuffs (none “feel-able”) and LOTS OF GLOSS. There is a small piece of clear tape residue on the Side 1 label.

• The POSTER designed by MILTON GLASER that was issued with this LP is included. It measures 33” X 22” and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. It has never been put on a wall (so no thumbtack holes). There are no holes at the junction of the folds which often occurs due to repeated unfolding and folding. There is just one tiny ½ tear at the bottom center that I mended from the rear using Lineco archival-quality Document Repair Tape which is acid-free, lignin-free acrylic adhesive tissue that is non-yellowing and stable over time. Don’t you love how “ELVIS” is spelled out in Dylan’s hair on the poster? (You know how often this poster is missing from this LP, but NOT THIS ONE!)

It’s a NICE COPY of THIS ORIGINAL STEREO PRESSING (now 55 years old) by BOB DYLAN and with its ORIGINAL POSTER!
