An original 1st issue from '74 on UK Island. Matrix ""ILPS 9281 A-5U/ILPS 9281 B-3U."" Stamped "Sterling". Note that the labels exhibit 'copyright control' as you will tend to find on early copies before they finalised what the publishing credits were. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue cover by Robert Stace. Please note this copy does not exhibit a bar code on the rear - this is a 1st issue from '74. We also have the original round cornered bespoke inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super condition and has only seen light use. A couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or that is likely to cause issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of minor deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Very smart audio - there's little to take issue with here. A few minor crackles in 'Natty Dread' - nothing to worry about and not remotely upfront. A couple of minor isolated ticks in 'Bend Down' & early in 'Blues'. Otherwise absolutely spot on. Some fantastic audio on here - deep bass. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Just whipped it out of the shrink-wrap so it is looking incredible for '74. Super colour retention and without the surface wear you will usually find. Totally flat surfaces without creasing. Four pointy corners. Hardly any edge wear and sharp openings. Spine fully intact - 99%. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No wear. NO splits. Excellent.
