Description
I am selling some highly collectible LP's this week, some first press. I only post to UK. No overseas bidders please. Combined post for up to 4 single LP's . Please wait for invoice if you win more than one item. I use signed for postage and record mailers/stiffeners to protect the record. Here is an album that doesn't come round very often. The rare original Zippo release of Catch a Fire. Play tested. No skips, pops, jumps, whooshes/glitches. A vinyl that is in good condition and has been looked after. The vinyl is clean and shiny with no obvious marks or scratches. Soft surface noise on lead ins and audible under some tracks.
Side A. The vinyl has soft crackles on lead in and audible through first track. the music production is louder than the crackles in the the background. Track 2 and onward seem to play better and I wasn't aware of the background noise,it's still there but the audio production is dynamic and clear. Although not excellent, I would grade side A as VG-. with track 1 as GOOD. Surface noise on lead out. Side B is pretty similar to side A. The first track has audible background noise. From track 2 the tracks on this side play well, the last three tracks play very well without obvious background noise.( could be my ears getting adapting to the sound though.) Track 2 onward play as VG with track one as GOOD grade as per Record Collector guidelines. Overall I would grade this vinyl as not quite VG. VG minus.
Cover is still hinged and there is edge wear with a slight tear on the cover near the hinge. Please see image. Visually the album looks in great shape. Please look at all images and the matrix and judge for yourself on this first press original UK issue. A lovely album with plenty of play left in it. Returns accepted with buyer responsible for paying return postage.
