HI All
I'm selling my beloved copy of Bob Marley & The Wailers seminal 'Catch A Fire' LP.
This is a first UK pressing on the famous Island Pink Rim label.
Disc
Firstly, I have just played the disc on my Michel Orbe deck and it sounds absolutely wonderful and plays as excellent - however, there are hairlines, a few wisps and some minor scuffs - and 1 scratch. I have tried to illustrate the scratch in one of the pictures - I can confirm that it is hardly audible - a few very minor pops, but it really takes nothing away from the listening experience - IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED I WILL REFUND - just return the disc in the condition you received it via insured delivery and I will give a full refund!
It has been professionally cleaned on my Okki Nokki Record Cleaning Machine and placed in a Nagaoka anti static inner sleeve. Play grades as VG+ (I'm tempted to say Ex - but will err on the side of caution)
Cover
The cover is a little worn and unfortunately the original rivet has been lost. However, I repaired this with some paper hole re-enforcers and a paper pin - its a bit of a DIY job, but it means the flip now works great and looks pretty good from the front - please see the pics for details. The top spine (where the writing is) is readable and in all I would grade as VG to VG+.
It will be placed in a top quality PVC sleeve.
The record has been cleaned on a professional RCM and will be posted in a professional mailer with proper stiffeners and via insured delivery.
As stated - happy to refund in full if you are at all unhappy - please read the description and look at all the pics. It's a really decent copy and plays beautifully and has a working flip (if DIY repaired)
