Description
This is an ultra-rare Bob Marley & The Wailers white label bootleg concert double LP. I have never seen it listed on Ebay, nor found any information on it before.
The cover is white label that has a tiny sticker that says “BOB MARLEY BOOT!”
Each vinyl side is white label and just says
“SIDE 1” - runoff says “REDCORD #1 Side 1 B.M. L-1055”
“SIDE 2” - runoff says “REDCORD #1 Side 2 B.M. L-1055”
“SIDE 3” - runoff says “REDCORD #1 Side 3 B.M. L-1055”
“SIDE 4” - runoff says “REDCORD #1 Side 4 B.M. L-1055”
To my ears, it’s an audience recorded show from 1976 Tour that was put on vinyl. The vinyl itself it in EX- condition and has been played only a few times. While listening, you can tell it’s not soundboard and can hear some crowd talking at times. Perhaps it was a promo of some sort because you can clearly hear at one point someone say “Hey, I’ve got somebody coming & they’re from the record company so you’re going to have to get up & leave” Don’t worry though, talking is at a minimum.
I bought this in the 1980’s and it’s sat nicely in my collection ever since. I have never seen another copy. Get it now while you can…
