Here is your chance to own one of the rarest Bob Marley albums. Original release on Island, with the pink circle label. This cover was only released in limited numbers due to the high production costs. It is rare to find them, and even more rare to have them still intact. It's not perfect, as there is some wear to the edges and to the hinge, but it is fully intact as you can see from the pictures. Overall I grade the cover VG+ based on corner wear and hinge wear. The vinyl and labels are graded VG+ as well. A very nice addition to your collection and I think it will be very difficult to find one in nicer condition.

My grading policy for records is very simple:

Vinyl:

Mint=Sealed

Near Mint = Perfect, but open....Looks unplayed. No visible marking at all. Very few records will receive this grade.

EX = Not quite near mint, but a step above VG+. You know you got a great copy with this one.

VG+ = There may be some marks on the record, but it has been well cared for and I would own this record. You can listen to this record without thinking you need to find another copy to upgrade.

VG = No major gouges, but the record needs to have some reason other than the quality of the listening experience to keep it. There is surface noise present.

Nothing less than very good will be sold.

Covers:

Mint = Sealed and perfect! Vey few covers will receive this grade, because I can almost always find a tiny fault.

Near Mint = Almost perfect..Maybe a sligt crease or mark which will be noted, but that is it...spine is perfect...no ring wear at all. May have a sticker on it that I chose not to remove. I'll leave that up to you.

EX = Not near mint, but pretty close. Possible very slight ringwear, with only possible very slight corner wear.

VG+ = Very good shape with some possible ring wear starting to become more evident, small unremovable markings may be present, spine still readable and overall is nice to look at. May contain a cut hole, or cut corner.

VG = Spine starting to become seriously worn and may be unreadable, Serious ringwear may be present. Overall, you will start looking for a replacement cover for this record, but it will work untill you do.

G = Good thing I like the record, because this cover needs to be thrown away...I won't sell anything in this category, unless the record is rare or valuable.

I grade as honestly as I can, and tend to underestimate the condition of all of my items. I would much rather you were pleasantly surprised than dissapointed about the condition of my items. I clean all of my records and completely dry them for 24 hours before playing them. Most of these records have never been played by me, and therefore never been cleaned by me, so a visual inspection is all I can offer. My turntable is a beautiful Dual 1215 S.

I will combine shipping, please add $1 for each additional single lp that you purchase, and two dollars for any boxed sets or double/triple lp's...I also ship in sturdy record mailers that I pay $1 each for...they can hold about 5 lps. I will ship the vinyl outside of the cover. I will not clean the record before shipping...I know everyone has their own best way to clean a record. If the record has been played, then it will of course have been cleaned. Please bid with confidence.
