The seller received this LP as a promotional copy from the label at the time of its release.  The album is still in its original shrink wrap, open on right edge.  The disc was visually inspected and appears to be in NM condition.  

Having been protected by shrink wrap, the gatefold cover is in excellent condition with no shelf wear noted.  It has a clipped upper right corner, which designated it as a promotional album. It has the original inner sleeve, which has a 1" seam split on one side.  Please zoom in on the provided photos to see the overall condition of this item.

"S" in runouts denotes a Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Santa Maria, California, pressing. In runouts, Sterling stamped, remainder etched.  Issued on Black Island Records labels. Issued in an embossed gatefold jacket, the inside of the gatefold has a textured border. Issued with glossy black inner sleeve.

(Wikipedia Excerpts)  Rastaman Vibration is the eighth studio album by the reggae band Bob Marley and the Wailers, released in April 1976.  Rastaman Vibration was a great success in the US, becoming the first Bob Marley release to reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart (peaking at number eight), in addition to releasing Marley's most popular US single "Roots, Rock, Reggae", the only Marley single to reach the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 51. Synthesizers are featured prominently on Rastaman Vibration, adding a breezy embellishment to otherwise hard-driving songs with strong elements of rock guitar. This is one of the three Wailers solo albums released in 1976, along with Blackheart Man by Bunny Wailer and Legalize It by Peter Tosh.

Seller is the Original Owner. I have recently begun to list my 2500+ record collection on Ebay, so please check back occasionally to see my new listings. My collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983. Most of my vinyl records have never been played, and many have their original shrink wrap. Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired many promotional and collectible LPs from that era.

Grading methodology is as follows:

M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.

Seller ships domestically within the United States via United States Post Office Media Mail with tracking. This is the most economical option.  Seller will insure packages valued above $30.  Insurance does not cover missing packages after they have been delivered to the buyer's address, only damage or loss during shipping. Warping is possible if vinyl records are exposed to sun/heat during hot months. Provide a shady area for your package delivery, and bring package inside as soon as possible.  If Buyer would prefer a faster shipping service, please contact the Seller before completing the transaction to discuss options such as Priority Mail. Per USPS, Priority Mail packages are delivered in 1-3 days.
