Description

The late, great BOB MARLEY’s autograph can be found on this extremely rare promotional  LP of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ 1979 release “Survival.” He also wrote “Rasta Live” and another thing (I can’t make it out) when he signed this on the campus of Temple University on November 7, 1979 during a promotional stop for his 1979 tour. Marley, the Wailers and I-Threes stopped at Temple's WRTI-FM Radio studios for an interview, which is where this was signed. He and the group later visited the Temple News, the school's newspaper. Marley and Company played  that night at the Philadelphia Convention Center in a benefit for the Black Music Association along with singer Betty Wright. . The cover of the album is a little frayed, but the record is in great shape (played once) and there’s a minor crease on the inner sleeve.  Any fan of Bob Marley would treasure this incredible, authentic piece of historic memorabilia that is perfect for framing and a great addition to any rock or reggae fan’s collection. This marked Bob Marley's last Philadelphia appearance before his death on May 11, 1981.
