ARTIST - BOB PATTERSON TITLE - LAND OF THE 12 STRING SONGMAN CATALOG NO - RDP 0025 LABEL - CONCH ISLAND MUSIC
Nice copy of this great LP. Always mellow, sometimes haunting, this record is a must for fans of the genre. Incredible tune called Carolina Carolina on Side Two with "Joline" singing back ground. Reviewed in the Acid Archives. The record has some minor hairline scuffs. There is some quiet and mild crackling in the quieter spots but seems to calm down when the music starts. VG+ rating for the vinyl. The cover is all intact but does have some ring wear. Appears to be autographed by Patterson and Joline. VG for the cover. Thanks for looking.
International bidders- I do not change values on customs labels, and I may not be able to track in all places. For items over $50.00 I ship priority only. If item goes for over $50.00 PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE!!
I can combine shipping! Many times it means I can ship up to 3 LP's U.S. for the same cost as one, and possibly more 45's. International bidders - Combined shipping will be only based on weight, so I will need to know how many items are bought before sending invoice. Thanks again!!
VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM:
Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus. Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink. Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover. VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear. VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits. VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits. G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed. STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects.
Hairline scuffs are light yet visible. You cannot feel them with the skin of your finger. Scratches you can feel. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one. I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+. "Age wear" on a cover is either fading or yellowing. "Shelf wear" is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying.
