Description

Here is a very, very extremely rare lp.

ARTIST:    Bob Smith

ALBUM:    The Visit

LABEL:      Kent Records KST-552 Stereo

This is a very minty copy of this LP.  There is a very tiny hole in the bottom right hand side. The gatefold cover is very sturdy and thick. The binding is very solid and no tears or splits. There is just a tiny bit of ringwear that you can see from the pictures. The vinyl as you can see looks unplayed, though I have played both lp's to check for any skips, pops or hiss which i found none of. The vinyl is very glossy and bears no scratches or scuffs. This double LP will be shipped in a very sturdy cardboard mailer.

Here is a description I found on a website:

Originally issued on the Kent label. The Visit is an American psychedelic classic. It was recorded in 1970 in Los Angeles and it redefined the existing borders of the psychedelic movement. From the first thought about this album to its release it took 3 years to put all ideas in an musical concept -- the result: obscure and complex songs with mindblowing instrumentation and depth. A mix of sprawling guitar, violin & some keyboard-weirdness with a patch of vague Buckley/Beefheart/Fankhauser reference points on to a base of melodic psych-rock extensions. With a lyrical vantage point not far from the heightened visionary nonsense of a Damon-like character, delivered by Mr. Bob Smith. forced exposure
