For sale is this UK reissue vinyl 7" EP, in a front-laminated flipback picture sleeve, by Bob Wallis & The Storyville Jazzmen with Acker Bilk. Entitled Bob Wallis Meets Mr Acker Bilk At The New Orleans Jam Session, it features Ginger Baker on drums and was originally released on the 77 label in 1958. It contains 3 tracks:
- Do What Ory Say
- In Gloryland - Take 2
- Running Wild
Condition
The vinyl is only in Good Plus condition visually but both sides play through with no jumps or sticks.
The labels are in Very Good condition with clear, perfect printing and just a few light spindle marks, a small mark on the A-side and the remains of the purchase tax sticker on the B-side (see pics).
The front-laminated flipback picture cover is in Very Good condition with just a small surface tear on the back near the top right corner (see pic).
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
