Description
I acquired this record from a friend who used to work in a local record store. The owner of the store had the album signed in person and used it as a display item in the store for years, along with many other signed albums he had collected. He put a black "X " mark on the other side of the cover to make sure that his employees did not accidentally sell it. It was a personal item he had no intention of parting with. My friend ended up with a bunch of records when the owner passed away and passed some on to me recently. The signature is in red marker and looks great. The record itself plays good but has some scuffs and hairline scratches resulting in the usual surface noise you would expect from an average condition old record. There are no authentic Bob Wills autographs for sale on ebay at the time of this listing. The last ones that sold that I could find auction records for fetched $200 and up each. These were sold at various auctions, not from eBay They were signed 8/10 pictures and index cards.
