From the back of the jacket:
In 1958, a dark blue car pulled away from a house in Waxahachie, Texas. It contained five young, talented men, the first Inspirational Quartet. They were headed for a singing engagement only a few miles away, but they had rehearsed diligently for just this moment. The first appearance was a tremendous success. There have been many since. Then and there, a rich heritage was established, one that has been added to and enlarged upon, but still continues intact.

The Inspirationals have had a few personnel changes, like all groups, but always the talent has been the very best. To name a few: Roger McDuff, Jim Murray, James Clark, John Hall, Gary McSpadden, Fulton Naish, and David Ingles have all been members at one time or another, and those are names etched into Gospel Music History. Plus, of course, Bob Wills, who is the Manager as well as Baritone for the Inspers.

Where hundreds of miles used to encompass their outreach, now their engagements are measured in thousands of miles. They sing from coast to coast, and from the top to the bottom of North America. Texas was their territory; now it's Alaska, Canada, California, Florida, Delaware, and all the points in between that their big Golden Eagle bus can reach.

The Inspirationals are from Texas, and Texas has an old saying brought forth from Pioneer days, "No brag, ma'am, just fact." Well, that saying justifies this statement. There is no finer Quartet in America than the Inspirationals, and that's no brag, just fact. If you ever hear or see them, you will remember them.
