Bobbi Boyle Trio - A Day In the Life / Rare 1970 Groovy Vocal Jazz Private Press

255

ARTIST: Bobbi Boyle and The Trio
LABEL: Encino WW-478 (1970)
TITLE: A Day In the Life
CONDITION:
Sleeve: Beautiful Mint- in claen original shrink wrap
Record: Retains high original gloss w/ some light surface scuffs and a few of scratches on Side B. Side A plays VG++ w/ some light random background ticks. Side B plays about the same except VG+ for tracks 2, 3 & 4 which have some more background ticks from the scratches. They do not overwhelm the music / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Super rare private Lounge / Jazz vocal LP still in original factory shrink wrap. Features Bobbi Boyle on piano and vocals, guitarist Ron Anthony (Frank Sinatra's guitarist in the later years), Chris Clark on bass, and drummer Chuck Piscitello. They were regularly working at the Encino Smoke House at the time. Great selection of groovy Jazz vocals featuring excellent instrumental accompaniment. See pics for track listing.
HEADS UP: I recently purchased a large collection from a radio station DJ. Lots of sealed LP’s and Mint- promo copy LP’s. I’ll be posting some every week for quite a while along with my usual eclectic mix
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 VPI cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
