Bobby Benson and His Orchestra - Monkey Kiss / That Nylon - Decca 78 WA.1794
Hugely rare Highlife 78 from probably the late 1950s by inimitable Nigerian band leader Bobby Benson. Seen as a pioneer of Highlife in Nigeria, his song Taxi Driver became a big hit in West Africa, and he was the first president of the Nigerian Musicians' Union when it formed in 1960.
Originals of his music rarely turn up and when they do they're often in very poor condition. This is in excellent condition and looks barely played.
I don't have a deck that will play 78s so I can give an audio grade, but visually it's at least VG+, probably nearer Excellent and should play absolutely fine.
The yellow and silver Decca labels are in great shape, and it comes in its original brown paper sleeve.
Very rare and hugely collectable.
