Up for sale is a SEALED Music Matters 180 gram 45rpm pressing of Bobby Hutcherson ~ Happenings.  This is a very rare special pressing that is numbered 17 of 25!   Any marks are only on the plastic baggie not the album jacket itself.  Double-boxed for maximum protection and safe transport.  Properly stored and cared for!

Notes:  Upon the start of production of the 45rpm Blue Note series, Music Matters produced 25 Special Edition "First Run" sets that were numbered 1 to 25.  These pressing were the very first production copies from the very first stampers for this album.  The folks at Music Matters and RTI waited until conditions were absolutely perfect before they started pressing these 25 sets (temperature, humidity, etc).  Because of this, these are the absolute best sounding copies of what Music Matters ever produced.  We all know how wonderful the regular Music Matters 45's sound so imagine what these sound like!  To commemorate the first 25 sets, Music Matters used a special Plastylite label before switching to the standard Blue Note label.  I have attached a photo of a sample of what this albums labels will look like. Most of these sets were only given to family members and industry professionals (like Kevin Gray).  Here is your chance to own the rarest of the rare (and best sounding) Music Matters Blue Note 45rpm album!!!!
