This listing is for a rare original pressing of the amazing 6th album from Bon Jovi. Released in 1995 from the doldrums of vinyl sales this album is very hard to find especially in this condition. A beautiful album widely regarded by fans and critics as their finest work, and never sounded better then on vinyl.
This item will not be around long so act fast before I change my mind and add it to my collection!!
Please check out my other listings for other rarities and classics across various genres.
All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+/NM Very close to NM which is very ususual for Bon Jovi as they are normally played to within an inch of their life and rightly so. Disc 1 has a few scuff marks from sleeve removal and the odd whisper line, but definitely VG+ at worst. Disc 2 is flawless and easily NM. All 4 sides have a nice glossy finish and no marks affect play. Labels are clean but spindle marks are a little exaggerated under a bright light due to the black colour, but nothing you would not expect.
Record Audio - NM Not a grade I would use on a 25 year old record lightly but this is stunning sounding album. Barely any surface noise on run in and on quieter moments, the audio shines through beautifully. Big rich sound and crystal clear vocals which make for a great listen, difficult to sell this one.
Record Sleeve - VG+ Overall really nice condition for it's age and most Bon Jovi records I have come across have been well loved to be kind to them. There are only a few spots of shelf wear on the sides and edges which are slightly exaggerated due to the black colour. Titles are still fully legible and good structure on the spine. Under a bright light there is some light ring wear visible and a small writing indentation (why do people do it!!!) but again this is only under a bright light, similar story on the rear. Overall lovely bright artwork and a confident VG+ grading. The original picture/lyric inner sleeves are present but unfortunately have some ring wear and on parts the colour has lifted from the surface, I will try to picture for you. There are no rips or tears or pen marks and to be honest it is just nice to still have them. Records are stored in separate white inner sleeves and will come in a high quality PVC sleeve to protect your investment. In the words of my favourite track on here...it's hard letting you go :)
