Bonnie Raitt    "Home Plate"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Warner Bros. BS 2984 from 1975.      This was her fifth album.     The front cover is autographed : "To Jeff - Thanx for your help-- Bonnie Raitt".      The back cover is autographed : "OK Jeff  Will McFarlane" and ":Jeff, Thanks for listening to some good music !  Freebo".     The record has palm trees labels with black print.       

I got this album from the Gateway Tower Records in Portland, Oregon.     I was there the day after they shut the doors and went out of business.      I bought lots of promo stand-ups, album cover slicks, 7" singles, and a box of about 100 albums.      ALL of the albums had been taken off of the high walls of the store.        Every album was autographed !!       They were autographed to store employees that had gone to their concerts.          This album is sold 'as is' with no proof or authentication.

Her backing band includes : Freebo, Gary Mallaber, Will McFarlane, John Hall, Fred Tackett, and Bill Payne.       There are background vocals by :  Venetta Fields, Jackson Browne, Terry Reid, J. D. Souther, Emmylou Harris, and Tom Waits.                     This album was produced by Paul A. Rothchild.    The album cover photography is by Norman Seeff.

The songs are : What Do You Want The Boy To Do, Good Enough, Run Like A Thief, Fool Yourself, My First Night Alone Without You, Walk Out The Front Door, Sugar Mama, Pleasin' Each Other, I'm Blowin' Way, and Sweet And Shiny Eyes.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG+

The cover is VG+, with no seam splits.           There is light wear and writing on the front and the back.      The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+, with lots of light handling marks.        The labels are clean with light spindle marks.       The record comes in a Warner Bros. inner sleeve.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
