Description
This is an ultra rare double LP compilation put together by Leroy Pierson and released on the label "Boogie Disease" as the one and only release on the label I believe. Playback sounds great if you like this sort of music which I do. I suspected and later verified that it was recorded for this compilation from the original 78 speed vinyl releases of each song. It is one of 500 made and released in 1972. The cover jacket shows ring wear and splitting on the entrance holes to each side but the spine is undamaged! The vinyl has what a friend of mine told me to describe as surface scuffs but not scratched up and the vinyl is nice and shiny. The inner sleeves are browning and folded but easily replaced and plain. The music is absolutely awesome for anyone into Chicago blues. When researching this record I had a very hard time finding out about it and all my info is from a non commercial site I found having to do with Nighthawk record label. The entire inside of the jacket is both sides of notes authored by Leroy Pierson. The labels are red and the logo is the coolest. Ive given about all the information I can about this item. I don't really rate records so I won't try now but Ive been told for what it is etc the vinyl is very good to excellent condition.
