Description
The Boogie Kings - She / The Band Doll (Pic 1 121) G+
1965
This 45 came out in 1965, never charted nationally, just got lost in the mix, most likely not enough distribution power, money. All that I know is that the group is legendary around Louisiana. It was most likely regional, just like the other auction I have by Charles Mann. The A side "She" is an odd slow song while the B side "The Band Doll" has a unique beat. I did play this 45 and it plays better than it looks. It was cool to listen to music from around this region. Once again it was saved from getting trashed from a friend who likes to dumpster dive, thank you Leroy.
I always scan my 45s without a sleeve and complete so that you know what you are getting and looking at. It will come with a clean sleeve and a plastic cover. They are always tested on my Numark TT-100 turntable with a high quality needle for quality assurance nomatter how many times I've heard it. It will be mailed in a corrugated cardboard mailer and packed with care. It has been cleaned & played. Plays very good. I can also do combined shipping,
Woo Hoo.
Cool Beans and Franks...Thanks
