This book of poems and song lyrics is 8"x8" a little faded and on the back cover a few spots. I saw Harry Chapin in concert just a few days before he died. I was leaving the venue before his encore, and was walking through the lobby where the merchandiese booth was, glancing at the goods. I was only 16, and this sweaty to me at the time, "old man" asked me if I would like his book. I replied yes but don't have enough money thank you, and he said please wait, he opened the book, autographed it (then I realized who he was) handed it to me, grabbed my chin and said you have the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen, ,kissed me and said, gotta run and went back to the stage for his encore. Me at 16 did not care about it and was grossed out. A few days later driving down the highway the radio announced... this song is dedicated to the late great Harry Chapin and proceeded to play "Taxi", I had to pull over, I could not believe it, I had just seen him and talked to him. True story. I hate to part with it but moving overseas soon and cannot take many things with me and this is one. Who ever purchases this, please cherish it.
