Description

Up for sale is a USED copy of Booker Ervin's 1965 album "The Blues Book" issued on Prestige Records. Catalogue number PRST 7340. This is a stereo pressing and not a reissue. Contains the blue label and silver print with the "Trident" logo at the right side. Address is 203 South Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, New Jersey. Van Gelder is stamped into the dead wax. Vinyl is VG-/VG with a little bit of surface wear in places but not bad at all. Contains some paper scuffs as well. The label looks pretty nice as well. There are a few spindle marks, but not heavy. Really a nice looking record. Sounds really very good too. Played back with and Ortofon MC 10 Super cartridge. Cover is VG-/VG/VG+ with some ring wear, however it is pretty light. Another tough cover to grade because overall the cover in actually in pretty good shape except for the back cover slice is a little bit worn. Other than that, the front cover and spine are in really nice shape. Cover still has a nice gloss. There are no splits and no writing and corner dents are pretty minimal. There is a red inspection stamp on the back left hand edge. Overall, a very nice package of a classic jazz album. All other questions are welcome via e-mail. Item shipped in a cardboard cover with cardboard pads for extra protection. Also comes in a brand new outer plastic sleeve and a Discwasher inner sleeve. Comes from a non-smoking and pet-free environment. Record will be separated from the cover to prevent any cover or LP damage. Shipped media mail through the care of the United States Postal Service.
