The is the rare Van Gelder-stamped mono test pressing for Booker Ervin “Exultation” on Prestige PRLP 7293. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. No art cover, but in a white utility cover. It is interesting to note that the dead wax shows two catalogue numbers, NJLP-8296 and PRLP 7293, suggesting that the session was original scheduled as a New Jazz release that was eventually titled “Trumpet Giants”.
