Description
United Artists UAL 4084, mono. Deep groove. Includes 8 jazz musicians who originate from Memphis. Subtitled “Young Men From Memphis”. Frank Strozier, alto sax; George Coleman, tenor sax; Little, trumpet; Phineas Newborn, piano; Calvin Newborn, guitar; George Joyner, bass; Charles Crosby, drums. 4 tracks. Cover: VG+ or better. 1 ½” top edge split at insert edge. Some corner wear. 2- 1” scotch tape sections on corner of spine (appear more for protection than repair). Some minor soil on bottom section of front cover. Record: VG+ to mint(-). Visually shows no wear on Side 1. Side 2 has 2 clusters of light rub marks. There is no surface noise on Side 1 and a small amount of groove noise at the beginning of Side 2 and possibly a small amount in the middle of the 1st track. This is barely audible. 2nd track has no surface noise. All of the noise mentioned is barely audible. Audibly checked.
