"The Bootleg Series Volumes 1-3", 5 record box set of Bob Dylan out-takes and unreleased treasures in Ex+/Ex+ condition - complete with 5 photo inner sleeves and 68 page colour booklet. These were bought just after release, and the matrix marks in the lost wax indicate that they are first pressings.
I have owned this from new, and I have looked after it carefully throughout. (I'm a little embarassed to reveal that some of these records have never been played). A stand-out track, to pick just one, is the original, virtually acoustic version of "Idiot Wind". After all these years, it does you good to hear a track like this in a different setting - it reminds you that few lyricists can live in the same room as Dylan when he has something to say.
Just to assure you of maximum quality, I recently cleaned all 5 records with a Moth machine, and checked out playback in order to confirm the Ex/Ex rating. The vinyl is clean, glossy, with no spindle marks visible on the labels. I have put each disc into a new Nagaoka bag for future use. The box, inserts and booklet are all virtually unmarked. The third photo shows a quirk of the LP box - different blocks of text are printed somewhat off the expected angle - but there is no damage whatsoever - this is a deliberate part of the artwork.
I'm offering low postage to all buyers worldwide on this. There is NO RESERVE, and the start price is set low to attract bidders on all my vinyl records - many of my auctions will only cover costs. The box set will come carefully packaged. I aim to slowly sell off a large collection of rock, jazz (several Mosaic sets) and classical (including some SXL ED-1/2/3s) over the next few months, so please come back to my auctions.
