Description

The 20th anniversary deluxe reissue of Boris' classic album dronevil, available for the first time since its original release — two different albums of soaring ambient space and frenetic headbanging rock n' roll meant to be played at the same time, this new edition is a joint double LP mix available for the very first time on vinyl.
The original release was based on the concept of playing two separate records simultaneously. This -example- version features a stereo mix of the paired tracks, creating a reference "example". The single "(a bao a qu)", also released 20 years ago, has been mixed with "drone" disc material and added as a bonus track.
Double LP housed in a 400 gram weight cardstock gatefold jacket with a custom Obi-strip. This is the white inside black ice with metallic silver, grey and white splatter vinyl version available exclusively from the Relapse Records webstore, limited to 500 copies according to the hype sticker on the front side of the clear plastic outer sleeve, or to 535 copies according to the hype sticker on the back side of the clear plastic outer sleeve and Relapse Records website.

The LPs are brand new and has never been played. The gatefold cover and the Obi-strip have gone through some water damages: the front side of the gatefold cover has some small wear on the lower left corner, the back side has severe wear on the two corners of the right-hand side, as well as severe wear on the lower left corner and along the bottom edge, and the spine has some small spots of wear at the lower part by the front cover as well as severe wear at the middle part by the back cover; the Obi-strip has an uneven surface, with severe wear at the spine. Please see the pictures for your reference. Everything else is still in perfect condition.
