Bossa Nova Soul Samba: Ike Quebec Blue Note Mono RVG BLP 4114 1962
Good playable copy of the the original Blue Note mono version of the title issued in 1962; Van Gelder stamped, NYC address, etc. Record is personally play tested start to finish on a Thorens/Shure combo and has 1-2 brief passages with consecutive pops but no skips. Really enjoyable set, this was my first listen. Vinyl and label retain most of their original sheen,with surface marks throughout. Side two has a small surface anomaly or stain that may come away with proper cleaner, I can't tell.
Sleeve is in great condition with no splits and just some mild wear at the corners. Below average surface wear on the laminate. Average surface wear on the less protected reverse. Poly-lined inner sleeve is not original but came from an Angel recording.
