LIVING IN CANAAN—2:00 (P.D.) 5. OH, WHAT A HAPPY DAY-2:00 (Campbell) 6. CARRY ON—3:25 (R. Hinson) As manager of The Turner Family Quartet, it is a great pleasure to write this backliner for the album. Thanking God for the salvation and the many ways He has blessed the group. Tim, the youngest of the group sings baritone and sometimes lead and he also plays the rhythm guitar. He has a great love for Gospel music. Odell sings tenor and I feel does a good job and also I am very proud of him because he accepted God's call to preach His word. I feel this is most important in his life. Lois sings lead and sometimes alto. She loves singing with her family more than anything and this she makes very much known. Jay joined our group in October of 1976 to play lead guitar. He gave his heart to the Lord that summer. . .so the glow he carries on his face is because he loves serving the Lord. Robert (Mack) plays bass and does a wonderful job. He also keeps the group laughing and like one of the songs on our album he's ready to "Carry On". After you read this you can see why I have so much to praise the Lord about. My dream from a child has come true. Pray for The Turner Family Quartet that we will be as clay in the Potter's hand. James Turner JAMES JAY PHELPS LOIS
