Found this one sorting through a large collection (as described below). Cover/Record (visual) grades EX/EX+ Record and cover are in great shape for the age - cover has a little shelf wear and maybe some foxing in the lower left-hand corner, but nothing else, no seam splits, staining, writing, etc. Record is nearly M- but a couple of the tiniest surface marks make we want to call it EX+. See hi-res pics for more detail. The last one on ebay sold for nearly $90 and had a crack in the vinyl!! Please feel free to make offers, worst case is I say no, but I am reasonable. :)
These records were acquired from a 90 year old collector or mainly Opera and Vocal works; some Broadway and 1920's/30's/40's recording as well. All of these records were stored inside the owners house until the time of his passing and are now again stored in a climate controlled room. Lots and lots of rarer pressing from Europe (England, Germany, Italy) as well as obscure USA pressings (as well as more common pressings) - EMI, Columbia, Polydor, Odeon, Decca, London, Angel...most are Stereo. LP Grading: M: Mint...is mint EX: Excellent, above average condition with minimal surface marks, still has its shiny luster and plays without surface noise VG:Very Good, average condition with some surface marks or scratches but should not effect play majorly and should have none to minimal surface noise +/-: I use + or - when a record leans towards the grade above or below but I do not feel is specifically in the grade higher or lower, I don't use a zillion of them, just one
Shipping: Single records are shipped using a standard LP mailer. Record is removed from the sleeve to prevent any damage to the sleeve and protected between an LP mailing pad and a 12x12 piece of bubble wrap. Multiple records will be shipped as necessary (LP mailer to 14x14x6 box) with the same care in packaging. Box sets are always shipped in a 14x14x6 box and carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and filled with shipping peanuts.
International Shipping: I will gladly ship to anywhere in the world, please be aware that some locations require EMS shipping to be tracked which can cost more (I generally enforce this for records over $100). If you require international shipping please wait for my invoice before paying. Also please note that I will declare the actual value of the item on the package for insurance purposes when necessary so please do not ask me to alter the value of the record(s) on the customs for.
Combined Shipping: I have a combined shipping rule setup with ebay's new instant payment required rule. If you wanted to purchase a larger amount of records and shipping looks off please let me know and I can create a combined auction for you with the right shipping cost built into the custom auction.
