45 RPM record Outrage No. 111 by The Boys (NE) "(She's My Girl) She's All Mine"/"I'm Not Satisfied" from 1975. Vinyl is M- condition, foldout heavy stock paper sleeve is VG with wear and curling (looks like a possible moisture curl but there is no staining or mildew, just curl). Nebraska Bowiesque Anglophile Glam-power pop. If you've seen the Numero label collection of Kansas City's Titan Label you may recall the story of The Boys, whose manager David "Heinrich" Hibbler staged a mock Naziesque "invasion" of Lincoln to promote a 1975 concert. This auction includes an actual handbill (VG+ folded newsprint--see picture) from that event at The Nebraska Union, Saturday, February 15 1975, from which I excerpt:: "Those with eyes did not see what they thought they saw. Those with ears did not hear what they thought they heard. Some Understood, and a lot freaked. What's it mean? ...Our hearts are broken. Heinrich is dead. May he rest in pieces. I wish we could say he died nobly in battle: incinerated in his blazing Panzer or smashed with his Junkers 87 Stuka. But he didn't. He wasted away in a much more torturous death--bled to death out of love for his brothers." I only have one of these and I can't believe I have managed to hang onto these for 35 years, but I have.
