Brahms: Viola Sonata No 1 in F Minor, Op 120-Lionel Tertis, viola:
Harriet Cohen, piano. Columbia Masterworks Set M-183
(3-12" royal blue discs  68115/7-D. First (1933) U.S. edition in
royal blue album: notes. A magnificent performance by two
of England's greatest artists. Tertis was the reigning master of
the viola in the first half of the 20th century and one of Artur
Rubinstein's favorite artists. Mint Condition




From the private collection of R. Peter Munves, who was in the record business as well as an avid collector for over 50 years and has decided to part with his beloved collection. All albums are from the late 20’s to early 40’s, and many are original, 1st editions containing pristine pressings from the golden age of 78’s.
