.DESCRIPTION: Breakout- Wall Of Solitude/Get Up- Fight Back. Another County Durham punk classic. Apparently 500 of these pressed with around 50 in a picture cover. I dont know how many sold but this hardly ever comes up for sale. Ive had it in my ebay searches for years and first one came up a few months ago. The guy I got this off says the label was signed by one of the band but it doesnt match up to the other signed copy i have. If you have not heard this side one is a kind of white reggae pop/punk affair but the b-side is an absolute classic in the early SLF mould. I have hundreds more US/UK punk,post-punk and hardocre records to list in the next few months LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Guardian GRC 101. Interestingly (if youre a saddo like me) the matrix is GRC 102 A/B. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1981 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL).VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some light scuffs only. Played both sides of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds pretty much Excellent. Clear and loud.. Comes in plain white sleeve. Clean labels apart from a name written in biro on one side "Babs" by the look of it. Ive not made any attempt to remove it. If i was keeping it id probably have a go- it would probably dull the orange print around it Id think. No rips, stickers or sticker tears. Nice clean sounding copy of a very scarce record. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
