Description
Up for sale is a copy of Brian Eno's "Here Come the Warm Jets" on the Polydor label for E.G. Records Ltd., catalogue # 2302-063 A, released in 1973. This LP was made in the UK, so it's an import record. This record is from my personal record collection and I usually made a tape copy of my vinyl and played the tapes only to preserve the vinyl copy. I always stored my lp's standing upright as well. This was the first solo record Eno made after he left Roxy Music. The outer jacket is in very good plus to near-mint condition with the exception of a tiny indent "scratch" on the front cover in the blue leafy thing in the photo-you'd have to turn the piece in the light to find it, and there is just a slight rounding indication of a vinyl record inside at the top center. That same rounding is barely noticeable on the back cover and there are 2 little 'fold/dents' at the top left corner, and finally, on the spine-side, there is a slight fold that runs the length of the jacket-not sure what that was from, but otherwise, it is in super clean condition. Spine is fully legible and while it shows some puckering probably from shelving, it is clean, no rips or breaking down. The inner paper sleeve is original with the plastic insert and shows some yellowing at the outer edges. The vinyl record itself is in super super clean, pristine, unmarred condition: no scratches, no warping, no ghosting. Nearly mint! Eno is joined by Robert Fripp, Andy Mackay, Phil Manzanera, Cherry Jones, John Wetton and others on this impressive recording. Track information is as follows:
Side 1)
1: Needles in the Camel's Eye 2: The Paw Paw Negro Blowtorch 3: Baby's on Fire 4: Cindy tells me 5: Driving me Backwards
Side 2)
1: On Some Faraway Beach 2: Blank Frank 3: Dead Finks don't Talk 4: Some of them are Old 5: Here Come the Warm Jets
