Brian Eno - Here Come the Warm Jets/Before and After Science - Polydor 2302 063 & 2302 071 - 1979 Re-issue.
This double album is from my own collection and has been looked after. I'm 99% sure I've owned it from new - probably bought it either when it came out or in the early/mid `80s - and that Before and After Science has only been played infrequently, Warm Jets has been played more.
Sleeve - Gatefold sleeve. Intact and undamaged. On the front left hand side of the Warm Jets part of the sleeve there is a faint circle of darkening, which I assume is where a promo sticker was removed. There are no traces of residue and no scuffing or other damage to the surface so I`m not 100% sure about that, but as it seems to form a circle, that may well be the case. The Before and After Science part of the sleeve has some small areas of foxing. Other than that there are no marks.
Labels - clean, unmarked, undamaged.
Vinyl - my recollection is that these have both always played through without problems.
To be sure I have just listened to these tracks ; Needles in the Camel's Eye, On Some Faraway Beach, Blank Frank, No-One Receiving, Backwater, Here He Comes (6 tracks in all). On Some Faraway Beach had some light crackle throughout, but the other tracks played without issues.
The other tracks I`ve graded visually as well as from memory. I would grade Warm Jets as VG+, B & A Science as VG++.
