From my collection (Peter Reum Collection) This is an extremely rare 2 album anthology of tunes by various artists compiled by Harvey Kubernik in 1979 on Freeway Records. This is a promotional copy of this set. What makes it rare for Beach Boys/Brian Wilson collectors is that it is the first appearance of Do Ya by American Spring. Brian co-wrote and produced this track in 1977 just before his marriage with Marilyn Wilson ended. There is much more worthwhile music on this set. The records are mint, come in a plain white cover, and have a letter explaining the contents of the set inside. The cover is a plain white cover. It is a virtual who's who of the indie scene in LA in 1979. Side A: LA Radio by Steven T., Get Your Hooks Off Me by The Whizz Kids, Anna Marie by Kirk Henry, Baby Hold On by The Martians, Do Ya by American Spring, When Will I Be Loved by Mickey Rooney Jr., and In the Tube by Chris Darow and Blond Louie. Side B: Get away by Flo&Eddie, Is it Love by Tommy Rock, Paradise by Ronnie Spector, Shadows on the Freeway by Jim Steinman, Tonight's My Nite by The Termors, John Dora ura by Pat Di Puccio and Alex Ferguson, Mau Mau by Earle Mankey (!), Holocaust on Sunset Boulevard by Rodney Biggenheimer and The Brunettes (The Honeys).
