Description

 THE BRIEF ENCOUNTER   -  ultra rare "self titled" LP (SEVENTY SEVEN 102, early 1970s) in solid VG (cover),  VG+, strong VG (LP) condition. 

    • Description:  You are bidding on one of the most sought after modern soul records - the self titled LP by BRIEF ENCOUNTER from the early 70s on SEVENTY SEVEN records.   Please keep in mind that THIS IS AN ORIGINAL RECORD, not a re-issue or bootleg.  This is a fabulous modern soul/funk LP, loaded with killer breaks. The band was based in Wilkesboro, NC.
    • Condition

    • SLEEVE: VG (seam split 1/2 way across at top, 1/3 at bottom (where there is also a small tear); small light pen writing at front top right; light ring wear to front; otherwise, clean and very presentable (see both photos below).   VINYL: side 1 is VG+ (some light surface marks); side 2 is very strong VG (a few more scuffs, one cluster of light sctratches between the songs "Good Thing, Bad Thing" and "Time is Moving" (CLICK HERE TO LISTEN) .  As you can see, THIS RECORD PLAYS GREAT!
