CHARACTERISTICS OF DISK or COVER:

(1)Japanese 1st edit. LP of Pat Metheny "Bright Size Life"(ECM Records<W.Germany>, 1976) made by TRIO RECORDS, JAPAN, whose company was known as a producer of quality jazz sound & vinyl, but then disappeared on the scene of Japanese recording industry; after that, LP "Bright Size Life" was pressed also by Japan Polydor Records. This listed one is the Japanese 1st issue by TRIO Records(its hardware counterpart "TRIO" brand was known as that of high quality audio equipment, which also disappeared & was then merged into KENWOOD); (2)Original ECM  (photo) cover design used (but the disk has  yellow TRIO labels, not green ECM labels); (3) Paper insert of Japanese liner notes by a Japanese writer; (4) Disk weight app. 120 g; (5) thick cardboard cover weight app. 140 g; (6) Obi attached.

DISK CONDITION: NM (lustrous vinyl & clean labels; nice reproduced sounds, but there are some mini ticks or background static noises on some spots of both sides)

COVER CONDITION: VG(still sturdy paper quality, but as shown by some of uploaded pictures, the cover has some visible defects: taping on the spine done in order to stop its wear <7-8 pieces missing but no split>;brownish discoloration by taping; <app. 5 x 5 mm>bald spot around the center of back cover opening  area<& its inside has one similar sized baldness and app. 5 cm faintly brownish taping mark >;bottom wear<no split>; some faint crinkles<app. 2 cm & 8 cm>; faint ring mark produced by the disk)

PAPER INSERT CONDITION: VG+( faintly yellowish; some mini crinkles) 

OBI CONDITION: VG+( some wear & small crinkles on the bottom area)

ANTI-STATIC PLASTIC INNER SLEEVE CONDITION: VG+  ( somewhat crinkly)

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Well known debut album of Pat Metheny supported by Jaco Pastorius & Bob Moses. Recommended to those who love light & beautiful fusion !!<but you had better not hope too much for Jaco's groovy bass because he understands & supports Pat's delicate face >
