Description
The Bruce Johnston Surfing Band "Surfer's Pajama Party"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on Del-Fi 1228 from 1963. This is the rare stereo pressing. It's a great mix of surfing instrumentals and vocal covers. It has their hit song 'Surfer Stomp'. It was recorded live at a UCLA party and there is some background crowd noise. It is a Bob Keene Production. This is one of those surfing records that you never find with mint vinyl !!
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Record is M
The cover is VG+ with no writing. There is light partial ring wear and seam wear. There was a 5 inch seam split on the top seam and it has been repaired. The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain brown wax paper inner sleeve.
The songs are : Ramrod, Last Night, Surfer Stomp, What'd I Say, Something On My Mind, Surfer's Delight, Kansas City, Mashin' The Popeye, Gee But I'm Lonesome, and Green Onions.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
