Up for sale is one(1) Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run ORIGINAL PRESSING LP from 1975 on Columbia Records (#PC 33795 ) in MINT/SEALED Condition. There is No Barcode.
THIS IS NOT THE "FIRST PRESSING" WITH JOHN SPELLED INCORRECTLY INSTEAD OF JON. THIS IS THE CORRECTED VERSION WITH JON SPELLED CORRECTLY.
Per DISCOGS:
-First issue (1975) has PC catalog number. First state covers are designated with the misprint tag. They credit "John Landau." Some have a sticker which corrects to "Jon."
-Second issue (1975) has correct Jon Landau credit printed on back cover. No barcode. Still has PC catalog number.
STILL SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH PRICE STICKER. NO BARCODE.
THIS IS NOT A MODERN DAY REISSUE, 180 GRAM RE-RELEASE OR ANY OF THAT RECORD STORE DAY CRAP. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL / VINTAGE LP.
Good luck finding an ORIGINAL PRESSING STILL SEALED copy in the original shrink wrap.
There is a small split in the shrink at the very top of the gatefold and a small split at the very bottom of the gatefold. There is a price sticker in the upper right front corner. Nice tight seal. Some of the corners may have poked through the shrink wrap. There are no rips or tears in the body of the shrink, just breathe holes. The vinyl is assumed to be mint as this is still sealed.There is a slight discoloration of unknown origin on the cover in the lower right front and lower left rear. Possibly/probably from age.
The cover itself is in MINT condition with minor typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, small dings and minor ring wear all of which are typical. There are no split seams, punch holes, cut corners, clips, stamps, etc...
I obtained this LP new in 1975 or 1976. I never opened it. It has been in storage ever since.
