           For many years I did promotion for music labels, large and small, and have accumulated product not only from labels I represented but labels I competed with as well.  Understand this was not a collection as such; it was the residue of what I did for a living. These discs were not stored in air tight lockers of kept in a temperature controlled clean room, they were in boxes in my office and although they may have never been removed from the dust jacket please expect dust and even some light scratching.  From 1973 we have for a no reserve auction what appears to be a lightly played early promotional copy of Springsteen’s, Columbia Records release “Greetings From Asbury Park”, catalog # 31903.  Vinyl has a nice surface, perfect labels and retains its original plain white inner paper sleeve.  Gate Fold jacket has survived the passage of time in very nice condition with good color, strong corners, no cut through but has the radio sticker with times and publishers.  Selections:  Blinded by the Light, Growin’ Up, Mary Queen of Arkansas, Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street, Lost in the Flood, The Angel, For You, Spirit in the Night and It’s Hard to Be a Saint in the City.  If you have questions about this item please make use of the “Ask The Seller A Question” option.  We welcome your comments and suggestions on how we might improve the content of our listings.  We also would appreciate corrections, if it appears our facts are wrong or misleading.  If you have questions about the seller, please review our feedback.  Postage in the Continental United States will be exactly what the USPS requires.  We charge an additional $ 2.00 to cover the cost of a new mailer, pads and USPS Delivery Confirmation.            I had several questions about the 8.5" X 11" insert that came packaged with this promotional copy and shown in the third photo.  This glossy insert was for radio only promotional copies and I now realize how rare it is.  It is titled "Bruce Springsteen Fact Sheet" and explains the artist and his feelings about this session and how the selection contained evolved.  It gives a brief overview of each title and ends with this warning:   "There are a couple of "questionable" words, so please read all lyrics before giving airplay".
