Description
This is a very slightly used copy of the 3-LP historic live concert by Bruce Springsteen & the E Street band, recorded on December 14th, 1978 at California's Winterland music venue, entitled "Live in the Promised Land". 22 tracks including the Detroit medley & "Mona/She's the One" & Bruce's version of "Santa Clause is Coming to Town". Also includes an interview. This is a direct line recording originally for radio, so the stereo quality is very good. This album has been re-issued many times, on vinyl & CD, but this is the original version, imported from France in a single jacket which contains all 3 LP's. The front of this has a printing error, as the white ink used in printing the cover ran in big globs-this is not a stain, but the way the jacket was printed. Jacket is pretty decent with no splits & minor corner dings & a minimal of ring wear & a bend on the back left hand corner, but not bad for a 40-year old album. A classic historic recording of "The Boss" at his best!
