Description

Michael Rabin. Bruch - Scottish Fantasy, Wieniawski - Concerto #1.

with Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult.

Columbia mono original blue / gold label 33CX 1538.

Condition: Record - Excellent / EX+. Crackle caused by dust, fluff, but no scratches visible. Signs of being handled, including unfortunately, finger marks on surface, but few signs of being played. NO SPINDLE MARKS AT ALL. Every chance that this will play NM- with a professional clean.

Cover: Excellent. Very slight ring wear to front. No splits, tears or cracks. Reverse is very white - hardly discoloured at all. The original owner wrote the dates of the composers and the soloist, in ball-point pen, against their names on the rear of the sleeve. I have successfully removed these for the composers, leaving just a slight indentation when held against the light. There is still writing to be seen against the soloist's name though "1936-1972 America N.Y." as this was written more heavily. It may still be possible to remove this further. See pic #2 and use zoom to view this.

Spine intact.

Postage is FREE (UK ONLY).

Record will be packed in a dedicated record mailer, removed from sleeve. From a smoke-free home.

Insurance included up to £39 for UK buyers. Over this, and overseas buyers, can have insurance added at cost, otherwise risk is with buyer.
