Prior to playing, the records were cleaned on my Moth Record Cleaning Machine.Playback equipment comprised a Thorens TD160, Linn Basik LVX Arm with AudioTechnica AT-95E Cartridge.
The records were examined in bright sunlight. Record 1 has one or two faint marks on each side. Record 2 Side 3 is quite marked and there is a mark right across side 4.
The sleeve of record one is almost perfect, exceptionally clean with very minor wear at the top and bottom of the opening edge. The sleeve of record two is again very clean with just a mark on the reverse, at the top right hand corner,where a label has been removed.
Record 1 Side 1
There is very occasional faint background noise that is apparent during quieter passages. There are no repetitive ticks and no deterioration in sound quality whatsoever.
Record 1 Side 2
Similar to side one, there is very occasional faint background noise that is apparent during quieter passages. There are no repetitive ticks and no deterioration in sound quality.
Record 2 Side 3
The scherzo plays virtually without fault. The finale has twenty five ticks followed by a further fifteen then a further sixty eight all from the right hand speaker. There is no deterioration in overall sound quality.
Record 2 Side 4
Unfortunately the mark across side four causes continuous ticks throughout and I consider it to be unplayable.

I do ask that you pay the postal charges to return the records to me. The records will be supplied with new Anti-Static (Nagaoka style) inner sleeves, EMI inner sleeves and PVC protective outer sleeves.
