Various Artists - Brum Beat

(Dial DLP 1 UK LP 1964)

 

This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve, & comes with its original plain paper inner sleeve. 

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has textured "Dial" labels. It has 1st press A/ B matrix stampers.

A rare UK 1960's Beat compilation. All the bands are from the midlands area. The bands featured are: The Senators, The Crescendos, The Snakes, The Sinners, Frankie Williams & The Highcards, The Fortunes, Mark Stuart & The Crestas, The Grasshoppers, The Two Corvettes, The Solitaires, The Congressmen, Roy Everett & The Climbers, The Renegades & Carl Denning & The Cimarrons.

 

Sleeve: This sleeve is printed on flimsier card than normal. Therefore it is quite prone to wear. There is some ringwear & fading to rear. There is a 1 cm tear at the front sleeve opening. There is some mild laminate creasing & lifting to the front. There is a slight dink to the spine also. VG- condition.

Vinyl: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and some minor pressing marks. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent, & Excellently in some places.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
