Buddy Guy - A Man And The Blues - Original UK Vanguard Vinyl LP from 1968

Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. Yes, a real old Buddy Guy LP from 1968 - I paid £25 for this, and was pleased to get it. Incidentally, side 2 starts with him playing something very like Otis Redding's version of "Satisfaction". Piano by Otis Spann. This is the album that "Sweet Little Angel" comes from.

Cover - is front-laminated. Front is still nice and shiny, has a very old (pre-decimal money!) sticker top right, some scallop creases, and bends to both bottom corners. Edges and spine very good. Back shows some ring-wear, and some small wear at the opening. Not torn, split or written-on.

Record - Very good! Purchased from a proper second-hand record store, where it was rated "VG+". I don't see any problems on side one. Side two has some light surface marks or stains. I have played side 2 - heard isolated clicks and some quieter crackles, mostly around the start of the side. Audio is just as it should be, record is not worn-out or beaten-to-death.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad.

Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. Combined postage may or may not be possible through the Program - if e-bay shows combined postage for their courier job, I'll do combined postage for the transit inside UK. I can't see information about this until you pay.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.
